#17 → #2
Two years of steady links: a betting-bonus guide from #17 to #2.
Sports betting · Brazil · “casas de apostas com bônus”
sitedeapostasonline.net · bonus guide: #17 (2019-08-01) → #2 (2022-04-01)
Source: Ahrefs ranking snapshots (estimates). Timing, not proof of cause; content and on-page teams worked on the same pages.
The challenge
sitedeapostasonline.net's bonus guide was stuck on page two for “casas de apostas com bônus”, a commercial term where operators and the biggest affiliates compete.
What I did
Instead of a burst, a cadence: roughly one placement a month from Brazilian news and sports sites, mostly with natural, partial-match anchors, from late 2019 onwards. The page's referring domains rose gradually, with no spikes, which is what link-by-link building looks like in the data.
What happened
#17 in August 2019, #4 by June 2021 and #2 in April 2022 (Ahrefs). It eased after the late-2022 Google updates.
