#21 → #11
A basketball site's betting hub from #21 to #11 for Brazil's biggest betting keyword.

The challenge
Lakers Brasil is an NBA fan site. Its betting hub was trying to rank for “casas de apostas”, Brazil's head betting term (about 100,000 searches a month), against operators and the largest affiliates.
What I did
I sourced placements on Brazilian regional news and sports sites for the hub and its operator pages, from June 2024 onwards.
What happened
Between June and October 2024 the hub moved from #21 to #11 (Ahrefs), while its own referring domains grew from 2 to 56. In November 2024 it reached #2 and held the top 3 to the end of my contract. That later jump coincided with a network-wide change across all the group's sites, so I only claim the first part.
