The challenge
Paid placements build links; they don't make a site a source. For that, journalists have to want to quote you.
What I did
With our on-page lead (Vanessa Queiroz) and PR lead (Inês Ferreira), I helped turn sitedeapostasonline.net's data into research pieces (the highest-paid Brasileirão players, a World Cup fan survey and others) and ran the press outreach.
What happened
Between 2021 and 2023, 33 Brazilian publishers cited the studies, plus 14 syndicated copies, including Terra, Metrópoles, Olhar Digital, DOL and Sportbuzz (UOL). None of these appear in any order record: they were earned, not bought.
